Cyst after an HSG shot?

Is it possible to have a cyst form after taking an HSG shot?

were you taking any other fertility meds? I guess it is hit or miss if a cyst will develope. It is pretty commom. My RE put me on BCP for a month to shrink them fast.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I was using the injectables for the first time. As it got closer for my period to start, I started feeling tender in the ovary that I ovulated from. I thought maybe I had/have a cyst. My hubby and I had decided if this past cycle failed we would take a break, so I decided not to go back to the RE when my period started. If I do have a cyst then I've already started the BC they had given me in the past to be on the safe side. I would have just gone in, but this RE is REALLY bad about not filing the right way w/ my insurance. My insurance only covers to diagnose infertility and then you're on your own. So... I didn't want to get stuck with a $200+ bill just for them to tell me it was a cyst and then tell me exactly what I already knew to do! Ya know? Seeing how we are taking a break, I figured the BC was the wisest choice. We are going to do IVF this summer!
