How soon after m/c did you get a bpf?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share their story of how soon you got a bfp after a miscarriage? I had a m/c in Nov, and am very anxious to get the elusive bfp again.

Sorry for your loss .... I don't know about everyone else but when I lost our first baby in Oct 2004 I ended up with a BFP on Dec 1 2004 - got pg again without even trying. Don't know how far along you were but I was a day short of 24 weeks. Now I have a 16 month old daughter.

I m/c in June 2005, m/c a week after my BFP, got pregnant JUly 2005 with Twins and lost one in my first trimester. My Son was born March 2006.

sorry about your loss. I was 6 weeks in August and m/c. Nov I got my bfp. We stopped really "trying" b/c we had an appt. to see a new RE and got the bfp.

i had my last m/c 24th august 2005, got bfp december 23rd 2005 , and gave birth to my son on the 25th august this year

I had a m/c July of 05. I had to have a surgery in October to remove a fibroid so the first month we could try was Jan of 06. We got a BFP! I delivered October of 06

I had M/C in Oct 05 at 9 wks. Waited the the 2 mo my dr recommended. Got my BFP Jan 06, DD was born Sept 15th.

I found out after 2 years of trying that I was pregnant and had my first doctor's appt on 04/10/05 and found out that "it was not a viable pregnancy". Needless to say we were devastated I had a D&C on 04/11/05 and the doctor said we could start trying again after 2 cycles and that most women became pregnant again before their original due date which was 11/13/05.

So after the 2nd cycle we waited until I was ovulating and started trying and found out in July of 2006 that I was pregnant again. It was a normal pregnancy and we actually found out on 11/13/05 (my original due date) that we were having a boy.

My baby was due on 04/22/06 and he was born on 04/11/06 (exactly one year after my D&C). Obviously he is our miracle.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a m/c in June. I did not need a d & c as I miscarried on my own. I got pregnant the very next cycle. I never actually got another period other than the m/c period. Some docs say to wait a few cycles, and I think that is mainly so you can recover emotionally. My doc said it was fine to count the m/c bleeding as a regular period and I guess I ovulated right on time. Prior to this it had taken me a year to get pregnant so I was counting my blessings. I too had a miscarriage in November and I am awaiting my next bfp. I will wait with you if you want someone to talk to. Are you seeing a Re or just doing the natural? Anyway, Best of luck, April
