question?

I am 27,been married and having up sex for app.9 yrs ..no baby.What could be wrong?i went to Dr back in 2001 he told me i have some fluid backed up in uterus and not to worry i "might" need some antibiotic.I didnt have any insurance and i didnt proceed with his diagnosis. Now i have good med insurance and wondering what ya'll think i should be doin?Looking for? what tests should i take? I really want a baby, and am ready for one i am scared and dont know what to do..any help is appritiated. :)

I think you should really get in to a OBGYN and do teh appropriate testing. Then if ever things comes up ok and your still not pregnant see an RE. But you really need to get some tests out of the way before you see the RE.

My advice is same get to an OBGYN first. Have some testing done.
Tell the obgyn what your last DR said. Get a througho (sp) evaluation done.
Then proceed form there. good luck.lol

Defintely go to an OBGYN and get some test done. Get a pelvic exam done as well. Then just go from there. I hope that everything goes well keeps the ladies posted.

If your insurance allows you to go to a specialist without a referral, I would make an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist as soon as possible. If you need a referral, go to your ob/gyn first and then get them to give you a referral. Usually they start doing tests and treatments after 1 year of trying and since you have been trying 9 years, I would want them to get started right away on finding out why. I know it can be scarey, but it's not going to get better if you don't go. Best of luck to you.

Hi IWantBabee have you gone to see a doc yet? Me 25 and my Dp 24 have been having unprotected sex for about 4yrs now and no baby.AF was late by 2mnths just got it today had bfn urine and b/t done at the docs she referred me to a specialist hes also a fertility doc to see why its late had u/s got no tumours or cysts which is good. I also had to do more b/t.I have a 6yr old dd from a previous relationship so doc thinks it could be dp sperm hes going in tomorrow for a SA.I also have to get get my fallopian tubes checked will make an appointment for next week.So goodluck to you...
