Hello ladies, I hope I can be part of your thread. I was supposedto do my transfer July 29 but due my sister wedding and bad planning with my nurse my cicle was canceled. I hope you can help me. My insurance does not cover IVF so I am doing the "share risk "( flat fee of 20,000 for 6 tries)program and I am in the process of getting all my meds. Today I got a phone call from a pharmacist my doctor called. My meds cost 5200 dollars. I started to cried becuase I never expect that much money just for one cicle of medecine. ( we alreday paid 20). Here is my question what do you think of buying the med form internet. Have any of you tried to buy medicine from IVFmeds.com they are base in England. I am very upset but I don't know what to do. It will cost me almost half. Any advice?
Now my tranfer will be in August.
Good luck to all of you.

Gabriela,
I highly recommend IVF.com. I ordered my meds from them & they were great. I ordered standard shipping, and my meds arrived in about 8 days safe & sound. Their prices are also great! I had my RE fax them my prescription, then I called them (remember the time difference...I called early in the morning) to confirm they received it & faxed them my order form. It was as simple as that. They are also very friendly.
IVF meds cannot ship syringes & needles, though. You'll need to get those from your clinic, at least that's where I got mine. The only thing my RN advised was not to order progesterone suppositories from there, don't know why though. I got those from Schrafts & they weren't expensive. My insurance also wouldn't cover my meds. They did cover the progesterone, though. Good luck!!

thanks for your replies. I spoke with my nurse and I asked her about ivfmeds she said that people order their medicine from there so it will be much cheaper. I am so happy because she told me that there is some people that donate medicine once they get pregnant or just decided to walk away. she called me yesterday with the news that she has almost have all the medicine for me for this cycle.I couln'd belive it. The only thing I have to buy is the lupron and baby aspirin and maybe 2more days of the other medicine. I was in schock!! but very happy. She told me that usually they give this medicine to people that don't have insurance and have to pay for everything.

I ordered all of my IVF meds from Europe back in 2004. It was the cheapest route for me as I have no insurance to pay for my IVF or meds.
Good Luck
