Weird Colour

Hi, Rich or anyone else that can answer
Last night DH and I were going to look at some sperms under the microscope, We collected the sample in a white dish, so i could put a little on a slide.
I noticed the semen was almost yellow in colour, what does this mean?
Is it something to worry about, It's never been that colour before.

Kim,
The yellow color is normally inflamation or possible infection in the ejacutory ducts situated behide the prostate. Talk to the doctor as treatment is a course of antibiotics.

Do you think it is a matter of urgency or can we just wait until the appointment with the urologist on 24th April. Our urologist isn't in town and we have to travel to see him. Or do you think if we just saw our GP, would he beable to help?
Would the infection have been cause by the VR?

Kim,
Its not a matter of urgency but something that has to be taken care of. A GP could readily handle it if he knows hubby's background as the wrong antibiotic would cure the condition but kill every sperm in his system. It a case of reversible sterility, it just sets back the program a wee bit. The doctor would be knowledgable in this if its pointed out or has knowledge of it. Normally they use cipro type or doxycycline for handling it but a number of others can be used. I assume the GP knows your DH background.
