Creative Way to Tell Parents of Adoption

My husband and I have 3 children of our own and now are adopting. I'm going home next weekend and was wondering if anyone has any creative ways to tell my parents. We are going to adopt international, but don't know from what country.

since we planned on taking my dad and his wife with us when we picked up our next child we told them to get their passports in order. As it turned out a domestic adoption fell into our laps a few weeks later. they were kind of bummed that they missed out on a trip.
Have you considered what country you will be trying to adopt from? You may figure out the time frame and ask if they are available to babysit the other three.
