Another question for you, Rich, please,
My dh are now more confused then ever, we have been reading up on post op care for vr.
Our doc told us that we could resume having sex 10 days after the op.
But i have only read that from one other doc and 3 other doctors recommend that you should wait 3-4 weeks to resume sex after vr.
Should we resume after 10 days, we are worried that we might ruin the operation.
Our doctor also told us that we won't have to use any kind on contraception during the first 3 months and that if i fell pregnant(which was very unlikely) within that time then it would be great. BUT on this other web site and this was from the doctor who pioneered the vr (Professor Earl Owen from Australia) he said pregnancy is not advised in the first 3 months as there is higher risk of birth defects and that contraception should be used.
Is this right 10 days to resume having sex or not, what do you think.
Thanks Kim.
