Is there anyone else on weight watchers that wants to start a thread for motivation. I'm 5 weeks into it and I'm sure it will take me many, many weeks before I hit my goal.

Dev --- Brookelynn is so sweet ... just looking at your ticker.

Good for you getting into Weight Watchers!! I sooo plan on doing it as soon as jack is born, so I will join you in a month or so ... I love Weight Watchers. Have you done it before? I know it will work well for you.

Are you doing points or the core plan?

Hi Jeanna. Thanks for the compliments on Brookelynn, I need to post some new pics but I'm having issues with my camera.

Yes I did weight watchers before I got pregnant with the twins. I lost 30 pounds in 5 months and I was 5-10 pounds away from becoming a lifetime member. LOL. I am on the flex system. I have had a couple of good weeks so far, first week was 3.6, last week was 2.5, I am finding it easier this time, I'm eating more bad foods and going over my points and yet I'm still losing. I think it's due to the breastfeeding.

Oh oh, baby is screaming gotta go. I'll see you on the parents thread where I am going to start the new motivating thread for weight loss.

D, i'm going to do it again. i did it after DD. i think i'm doing core this time because i just don't have it in me to count points right now!. i'm going to start it, but wait to join when i get to St. Louis next week.

do you ever check out the WW message boards? they are great!

I'm thinking about doing WW's - but I don't understand the difference between what you all are saying is core and flex programs. When I did WW at home before someone just gave me some books and I counted points... didn't lose weight fast - but I DID lose... which is no small thing for me with my thyroid problems. :) This time though I have a treadmill and stationary bike to use for exercise, plus a wonderful pilates video. So those should help also. :) Do you all work out with your WW?

Fran-There are two programs offered by weight watchers, one is the flex program and the other is the core program. Flex program you count points, core program you onyl eat "core foods" I believe. I am not familiar with the core program, I've never done it, perhaps someone on here can explain it better. I work out 4-5 times a week and we go walking 4-5 times a week. I have to work out or I don't lose anything, it seems to be key for me. I own a treadmill, eliptical and stationary bike.

Jenni-I have never checked the message boards. Do you have to pay for that? I did not join on line, I go to the weekly meetings. I need the motivation of having someone else weigh me. ;)Let me know when you join.

Anyone still on weight watchers???

I just joined online yesterday. I know I would do better with the meetings, but online was cheaper so I figured i would start this route. Online is a tad confusing to me, but I am trying to get the hang of it.

So do you use all your daily and weekly points? How much have you lost etc?

Thanks!!!

Pennie-I stopped going to WW quite a few months ago. I wasn't seeing results that I wanted and thought I could do it on my own. I have lost 60 pounds since delivering Brookelynn but I still have about 20-25 more to lose.

I run outside 3-4 times a week and work out at the gym 3-4 times a week. The scale hasn't really moved in a few months but I know all the working out is helping me so I'm trying to be patient.

Good luck with doing it on line. I could never do it on line, I need the motivation of someone else weighing me in. Let me know how you like it and good luck!
