Hello,
Can some one tell me the vitamins and dosage a male needs with low sperm count, and the other peramaters on the border line.

Dear Rock,
The vitamins needed are the following and the amounts. You need Vit E and you need 400 IU/day. The body in the presense of this amount and higher produces Testosterone. Now the free Testosterone in the blood but specifically in the Testes is what starts the operation going. You need a minimum of 1 gram/day of Vit C. This improves sperm motility and regenerates any Vit E chewed up in the free radicals and this improves morphing by protecting the Vit E which protects the sperm. You need Carnitine(amino acid) which is used to make sperm.
Now the doctor by prescribing Clomid is tricking your body into making more Testosterone which in turn causes more fsh to be made to raise the count. Now taking the high Vit E will do the same thing. A good multi/mineral will contain both Zinc and Manganese. Zinc is needed to chemically make Testosterone from Chlorestriol and Manganese is needed to revert any excess Estrogen your body has into Testosterone and also convert any DiHydroTestosterone back to regular Testosterone. This raises your free T levels for production.

Rich,
I shoulda had you as my UR. Thanks for all the help

Rock,
Don't find your UR at fault but the Medical Teaching System. They have been taught to go after the symtom not the cause. This is why in many cases having a D.O. as primary care physician has its advantages because they are taught Nutritional Medicine. Get yourself a good book on supplements, on vits and on herbs and with the internet learn. Check sites on andrology as they are run by PhD's not MD's and a whole new world opens.
Glad to help,
Rich
